The 2015 Polaris Slingshot SL is a three-wheeled roadster that blends motorcycle open-air freedom with automotive controls. Classified legally as a motorcycle or "autocycle" depending on the jurisdiction, it features a reverse-trike layout—two wheels in the front for steering and stability, and a single wide rear wheel delivering power to the pavement. The SL trim serves as the upgraded, premium variant of the baseline 2015 Slingshot, adding distinct styling cues, larger wheels, and added technology.
