From the dealer's page

The Savage 650 is a 1999 incarnation of the big sport singles of the '50s and '60s. But with the Savage 650, there's a twist. It benefits from decades of technological advances, making it an up-to-the-minute cruiser you can count on for modern, reliable performance mile after mile. Take its engine, for example. It has a four-valve, Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber cylinder head, helping the Savage produce a double shot of low-end torque and mid-range acceleration. For exceptionally smooth performance on the open road, it has a high-mass crankshaft, built-in counterbalancers and durable, clean-running belt drive.
