For years an 883 Sportster® has given riders exactly what they need. A lean, narrow frame fired by a legendary V-Twin. For 1999 we add something new. The look of a Harley-Davidson® Custom. Like the 883 itself, the styling is just enough to stand head and shoulders above anything else. Notice the forward foot controls. They’re new to the Sportster®. The drag bars and unique mounting of the chrome speedo add more custom style. So do the chromed bullet headlight and sleek, two-up seat. The engine covers get a silver powder coat. Then there’s the profile. A lowered suspension and solid 16" disc in the rear, and tall forks with a 21" laced wheel up front. The 883 Custom. Clean, mean and all Sportster®.
